Artist and Curator

 

Based in Ramong (Encounter Bay, South Australia). As an artist Luisa Stocco works in ceramic and textile sculpture. She employs a process-based approach, focusing on material properties and exploring themes related to the human relationship with the earth. Her curatorial interests include storytelling and projects that connect personal experiences with collective narratives.

 

Luisa has academic and professional experience in visual arts, design, education, gender studies, visual arts and arts psychotherapy. She has participated in solo and group exhibitions, and her work is held in private collections.

​In 2026 Luisa will present a solo exhibition at South Coast Regional Arts Centre, Goolwa and curate a group exhibition, Women Making Their Mark at Signal Point, Goolwa in 2027.
